Tamara B. Singer is a licensed Pennsylvania Personal Care Home Administrator and licensed Boarding Home Operator with over twenty five years of seasoned leadership experience in the senior housing industry.  Ms. Singer has a unique and concentrated background in sales, marketing and operations of assisted living facilities.  She is responsible for the management of Twin Cedar’s as well as all aspects of financial operations, planning, budgeting, asset management, sales, marketing and finance. 

Formerly, Ms. Singer held positions as the Regional Director of Sales, Marketing and Operations for a dozen assisted living facilities in the State of New Jersey.   In addition, she is a certified Alzheimer Support Group Facilitator and has been an active Memory Walk Team Leader & Fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association.  Ms. Singer holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology from the State University College at Buffalo.  She is a board member of the Professional Aging Network in Orange and Pike County advocating for our area seniors. She is passionate about delivering quality care to seniors and ensuring their happiness and well being. Ms. Singer is honored and very proud to lead her highly trained team at Twin Cedars that truly cares about their residents. 

 

 

 

Ms. Cabany is the Operations Manager and has cared for all the seniors here since January of 2007. Before starting at Twin Cedars, she worked as an EMT in New Jersey for five years and then became a stay at home mom raising her two children. She first began her career with Twin Cedars as a Personal Care Aide. Over the years, she has advanced to positions of Medication Aide and then to Operations Manager. She has worked in all capacities in our community and has a hands-on management approach that others admire.

Some of her current responsibilities include mentorship and leadership of our entire care team, staff scheduling and training, oversight of our medication administration program and overall management of the community. She holds certifications in CPR/First Aid and is also certified by the state of Pennsylvania as a Medication Administration trainer and provides this training to all qualified staff in the home. Ms. Cabany is always available to all staff/departments for guidance and assistance when needed including resident personal care. She is normally your first point of contact when calling or visiting Twin Cedars, and families rely on her to resolve any small concerns or answer any questions about their loved one. Ms. Cabany excels at resident and family satisfaction.

She has a passion for working with seniors and ensures that all company policies and procedures are followed. Her goal is to continue to provide the highest quality of care to our seniors for the many years to come.

Ms. Donaghy is a Pennsylvania L.P.N. and the nursing supervisor. She began her career at Twin Cedars in December of 2011. Prior to Twin Cedars she worked as an EMT and 911 dispatcher in Westchester County, NY as well as an EMT in Orange County, NY for over twenty years.

Her current responsibilities include assessing the wellness needs of all residents and ensuring that their medical needs are met. She continues to evaluate each resident, develop care plans with each individual, and communicates all medical needs to their physicians and family members. She is a strong communicator, keeping family members properly informed of their loved ones status. Ms. Donaghy is a master at coordinating care for our residents and takes a preventative and pro-active medical approach when overseeing our resident’s care. She is enthusiastic about keeping our residents properly hydrated, ensuring their special diets and advocating physical therapy for those that may benefit from it. Her goal is to keep our residents healthy and to maintain their longevity.

Ms. Donaghy believes that all of the residents at Twin Cedars are provided the highest quality of care in a compassionate environment. She enjoys providing individualized care to each resident and strives to ensure that all residents are safe, comfortable and emotionally content.

Ms. Stine has been employed at Twin Cedars since 1992. She began as a volunteer after moving to our neighborhood in Pennsylvania from the New York City area. Ms. Stine had gone to secretarial school in New York City and then worked as a purchasing manager before marrying and then raising three sons. Her volunteer work at Twin Cedars soon evolved into a Personal Care Aide position for her for ten years. Ms. Stine was later promoted to the Activity Director’s position in 2002, which she happily accepted.

Ms. Stine plans activities and programs for our seniors meeting the spiritual, social, physical and cognitive needs of our seniors.

Nothing gives Elaine greater joy than to be able to listen and help our residents in any way she can and make our seniors laugh. She enjoys listening to their interesting stories they have to tell and much wisdom to impart. Ms. Stine is highly gifted at inspiring our seniors to share and partake in all group and one-on-one activities in our community. She is an integral part of our team, keeping our resident’s stimulated and entertained throughout each day. No resident remains alone in their bedroom when Elaine is present, as Elaine goes room to room each day reminding and encouraging all to attend each program she offers. Elaine plans and implements creative bus trips and takes our seniors to interesting destinations in the community.

She is proud to have hosted an annual holiday concert for our seniors since December of 2002, rehearsing with them for months prior to prepare. On opening night, all family members attend to see their loved one perform. Ms. Stine believes that it is important for our residents to look forward to each and every day and by exercising their bodies and minds they can still contribute and make each day worthwhile.

Debbie was born in Connecticut but grew up in New Jersey. In her early 20’s she moved to Pennsylvania and started a ceramics business. Over time Debbie decided to supplement her income by taking her culinary skills to Twin Cedars. In 1997 Debbie began her career with Twin Cedars as a Kitchen Aide and was later promoted to Kitchen Manager. Her position affords her the opportunity to plan, prepare and serve our residents balanced and healthy meals. She takes great pleasure in providing delicious meals to our seniors and meets with all new residents to ensure that she is aware of their dietary preferences.

Debbie takes great pride in making sure all residents receive snacks throughout each day and that their birthday is celebrated with a home-made cake. Our residents love her, as Debbie always makes everyone feel special in our community!
